DARRELL OSADCHUK
Darrell received his BA (economics) at the University of Calgary in 1998. Following graduation, Darrell joined Mutual Life where he won the Rookie of the Year award for top sales in Canada. In 1999 Darrell joined Rogers and Partners and then later Research Capital, as a broker. Having built a successful portfolio of investments for his clientele, Darrell left the brokerage business in 2002 to pursue his passion of advising small businesses as well as managing the investment portfolio of a Private Fund.
Since 2002, Darrell has been involved in many other companies including: Osadchuk Consulting (small business investment/trading advisor), Woodparke Homes where he is the CFO (a custom home builder), a few restaurants as well as a storage company..
Darrell’s philanthropic activities include the establishment of the Osadchuk Early Childhood Intervention Fund which was created to ensure that all children, no matter of age, race, gender, or wealth all have the same foundations in place when they start their education.
DAVE RANKINE
After graduating University (UNLV) with a BA degree in 1994 Dave started his business career in Consumer Packaged Goods; quickly climbing the corporate ladder with one of North America’s largest food companies (General Mills). Dave was transferred to Toronto in 1998 where he led the National retail sales team. In this role Dave was instrumental in implementing a new CRM system and re-establishing the entire retail sales team after the merger with Pillsbury. His final role with General Mills was managing the largest retailer in Canada. In this role, with a staff of 5 and annual sales volume of $100MM+, Dave was able to achieve year over year sales growth of over 10%.
In 2003 Dave decided to leave the Consumer Packaged Goods industry and move back to Calgary, joining a Land Development company (Walton International) where he had his first exposure to selling (exempt market) securities. Dave completed his Canadian Securities Course in 2009 and in 2010 decided to establish with others a new Exempt Market Dealer; Pennant Capital Partners. While with Pennant Capital Partners, Dave grew the dealer from no sales people and no sales to approximately 45 independent dealing representatives and $75MM+ in sales, all in less than 2 years.
In February 2012 Dave left Pennant Capital Partners to focus his business activities with D2 Management.
